The Lakeland Residential Development property is located North of Old Polk City Road and East of Moore Road.

The Lakeland property is approximately 792 acres. The parcel is being developed to increase the available housing stock for the Seminole Tribe within the Lakeland Community.

Phase one (1) of the overall development project entails the construction of 46 single-family homes on one-acre lots within a gated community. The single-family dwelling units will range from approximately 2,100 square feet to 3,500 square feet. Tribal Members have a selection of Lennar home models to choose from. The development will include recreational areas and other services to support the community. Subsequent phases accommodating additional single-family home units will be constructed in the future.

Construction of the new Single Family Homes in Phase 1 started in September 2020, and all 46 homes will be completed in 2021.

Phase Two (2) of the development has begun consisting of 26 single-family homesites. Construction of the homes began in August 2022 and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2023. Phase 2 consists of 20 rental homes and 5 member homes with one homesite to be utilized for Seminole Police Department.

Phase Three (3) of the community is under design and is expected to start construction of the infrastructure in early 2023 with home construction to begin later in 2023.
