Environmental Resource Department (ERMD)

The Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Environmental Resource Management Department (ERMD) is charged with conservation and management of the Tribe’s natural resources.

To ensure that the ecosystems within Seminole Lands are protected and maintained to meet the economic and cultural needs of the current generation and future generations to come, the ERMD operates a regulatory program that supports sustainable development and protects the natural resources of the Tribe.

Education is critical to improving a community’s ability to address environmental issues. We invite your participation through reporting wildlife sightings or environmental conditions, submitting questions or simply exploring the educational materials provided on this website.
