Lakeland - Residential Development

The Lakeland Residential Development property is located North of Old Polk City Road and East of Moore Road.

The Lakeland property is approximately 792 acres, of which approximately 752 acres are currently used for cattle grazing. The remaining 40 acres is mainly wooded and has a 1,716 square feet single-family home. The parcel is being developed to increase the available housing stock for the Seminole Tribe within the Lakeland community.

Phase one (1) of the overall development project entails the construction of 46 single-family homes on one-acre lots within a gated community. The single-family dwelling units will range from approximately 2,100 square feet to 3,500 square feet. Tribal Members have a selection of Lennar home models to choose from. The development will include recreational areas and other services to support the community. Subsequent phases accommodating additional single-family home units will be constructed in the future.

Construction of the new Single Family Homes in Phase 1 started in September 2020, and all 46 homes will be completed in 2021.
